2) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with a parent or legal guardian's involvement/consent, and certain services (including coaching/mentorship and events) may require additional parental consent.

3) Coaching and mentorship are not therapy

Coaching and mentorship are intended to provide practical guidance, encouragement, and accountability. They are not therapy, not medical or mental health treatment, not legal advice, and not crisis intervention. Always seek qualified professionals for medical, mental health, legal, or other professional advice.

4) Changes to the site and terms

We may update the Site and these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

5) Acceptable use and community standards

You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only and to respect our community. You may not:

• Post false, harmful, harassing, or offensive content
• Impersonate anyone
• Spam, advertise, or solicit
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

Violation may result in removal of your content and termination of your access.

6) Content warnings and your responsibility

The Site may contain stories, discussions, or resources about abuse, trauma, and related topics, which some may find distressing.

User responsibility: You are responsible for assessing your own emotional readiness to engage with this content. By using the Site you acknowledge this and agree to practice self-care.

7) Your submissions (forms, stories, messages)

When you submit content (such as a survivor story, form, or message), you grant PWNS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, edit, publish, and share that content for PWNS's mission-related purposes.

If you opt for anonymous publication, we will not publicly display your real name. See our Privacy & Story Consent policy for details on how we handle your submissions.

8) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy & Story Consent policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

9) Donations (including monthly giving)

Donations are processed securely through Stripe. Recurring donations continue until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

No refunds: Donations are final and non-refundable except where required by law or in cases of payment-processing error (duplicate charges). See our Refunds & Cancellations policy for details.

10) Shop and merchandise sales

Purchases from our Shop are handled by a third-party fulfillment platform (Shopify / Printful or Amazon).

No refunds / all sales final: If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 30 days for a replacement. See our Refunds & Cancellations policy for details.

11) Events and gatherings

Paid event registrations are non-refundable for attendee-initiated cancellations.

If PWNS cancels an event, you may choose a full refund or credit toward a future event. If PWNS reschedules, your registration transfers unless you request a refund within 14 days of notice.

PWNS reserves the right to remove any attendee whose conduct violates community guidelines. See our Refunds & Cancellations policy for details.

12) Intellectual property

All Site content (text, graphics, logos, images, and other materials) is owned by PWNS or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written permission from PWNS.

13) Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with a detailed claim.

14) Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.

15) Disclaimers

The Site, content, and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PWNS does not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

16) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PWNS and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or services.

17) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PWNS from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

18) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

19) Electronic communications and notices

By using the Site or providing your email address, you consent to receive electronic communications from PWNS. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
